My stroll to the farmers market last night was nice & quiet. I like our tuesday tradition. There were 3 of the oldest men I have ever seen playing banjo's and guitars singing a song about a grasshopper. They were even giving away free corn. wonderful.
on a more scrumptious note.
I finally – after 6 weeks – made nice enough to the pita chip person that they are going to save me a bag next week. He said he promised. oh my gosh, I can taste them already. They are home made seasoned pita chips that are unbelievable. They give them away with sample dips they also sell but every week they sell out before 4:30. they open at 4 and I don't get off work until 5. So today they young man told me he will remember me. and save me a bag. yippy!
What are your favorite summer traditions you will be saying good-bye to in the next few weeks?
